Getting to Eln Cottage at Port Arthur

Eln Cottage, Port Arthur is located at 411 Safety Cove Road.

To find Eln Cottage, take the A3 from Hobart to Sorell, then the A9 from Sorell to Port Arthur, 500 metres past the Port Arthur Historic Site, turn left onto the C347 towards Remarkable Cave.

Follow Safety Cove Road for 4 kms along the C347 past Carnavon Bay, and Eln Cottage is 1 kilometre past the Tasman Golf Club turnoff on the left hand side.

You can see Eln Cottage from the road 100 metres before you arrive at the gate. There is a lookout bay on the left side that looks out towards Tasman Island and from there you can see the cottage to your right.
